๐ง Learn Korean Consonants and Vowels

The Simple Way to Master Hangul Sounds
Are you ready to read Korean?
The first step is understanding Hangul’s consonants and vowels. Don’t worry — the Korean alphabet is logical, phonetic, and easier than you think. Let’s break it down, step by step! ๐ฐ๐ท✍️
๐ What Is Hangul?
Hangul (ํ๊ธ) is the Korean writing system created in the 15th century by King Sejong.
It has 14 basic consonants and 10 basic vowels, with some combined versions.
Unlike English, each syllable is written in a block, like this:
-
์๋ ํ์ธ์ → ์ + ๋ + ํ + ์ธ + ์
Each block usually follows this pattern:
Consonant + Vowel (+ Optional Final Consonant)

-
๋ = ใด (n) + ใ (a) → "na"
-
๋ค = ใท (d) + ใ (a) → "da"
Just like LEGO blocks — mix and match!
